I bought the comb as I like to have a French pleat but I find with many combs I find the teeth break very quickly as I have thick, long hair. I don't believe that this will happen with the Cathy comb as it's made of strong acrylic and has some flexibility. The only downside is the ends of the teeth are rounded so sometimes I struggle to get it through my hair. Once positioned correctly it holds well and looks pretty.
